Home Trends That Will Be Everywhere This Fall (+ The Ones Designers Are Saying Goodbye To)
Get a head start on this fall’s top home trends.
With a hint of autumn in the air, designers are already thinking about what home trends are worth buying into this upcoming season.
We sat down with Quebec-based designer Pascale Nakhlé to get an inside scoop on what’s in and out this fall, from warm hues to durable materials.
What is *the* colour of fall?

Pascale: This season’s hues are all about mocha pink, a soft and warm shade that harmonizes perfectly with natural and soothing colours. For more contrast, pair it with deeper shades like forest green.
Our pick: Benjamin Moore Whipped Mocha CSP-350
What materials will designers be turning to?
Natural textures will be in the spotlight, with a return to raw and organic materials such as lime, marble, and linen. These materials—both aesthetic and durable—bring visual and sensory richness to spaces, while creating a warm and refined atmosphere. They also promote a more authentic and environmentally-friendly approach.
What home trends are on the way out?
Cool tones are on the decline, especially the shades of grey that dominated interiors in recent years. In kitchens, two-tone cabinets with two contrasting shades are also losing popularity, favouring a more uniform and natural approach.
What design styles are gaining popularity?

For kitchens, we're seeing a return to classic moldings and wood, combined with a minimalist, clean design. The emphasis is on quality materials and durability. The double island trend is also growing, offering greater functionality in living spaces. Investing in noble, timeless materials is becoming a priority choice for those looking to combine aesthetics and longevity.
What’s your go-to home store right now?
When it comes to choosing materials for my projects, Cosentino, a Spanish family-owned company, is always at the top of my list. I go there as much for the exceptional quality of their products as for their attentive service. I particularly like their large formats, perfect for elegant countertops and sleek bathroom designs.
Their selection also includes custom shower bases and sinks, always with the same commitment to quality.
