Designer Jessica Locas completely reimagined the look and layout of this primary bathroom.

Stealing space from the adjacent hallway added valuable square footage that made room for a floor-to-ceiling built-in cabinet and a makeup table tucked under the window (taking full advantage of the natural light). The extra space also allowed for a harmonious layout for the bathtub, shower and his-and-hers vanities.

• The vanity area was separated into two distinct zones—one for her, one for him—to create a layout that’s functional, elegant and unexpected.
• Between the vanities, an arched doorway reveals the room’s centrepiece: a massive eight-foot-long shower, featuring dual shower heads, integrated LED lighting, and stunning travertine-effect porcelain-clad walls.
• Moody dark lime paint on the walls adds a dramatic flair that’s enhanced by tonal green tiles set in a chevron pattern.
