Before & After: An Unused Home Office Turned Creative Haven
See how this unloved sitting area was transformed into a perfectly pretty home office.
This space serves as a home office, where the owner meets with clients and maintains a strong online presence for her business. She wanted the company’s brand colours to be incorporated into the material and colour selections, ensuring that any photos or videos taken in the office will align with her image.

Favourite features
- A custom-built millwork unit with wraparound desk was designed to meet all of the homeowner’s business needs. The space includes bespoke filing units, a discreet spot for the printer, storage for office supplies, and a convenient charging station.
- The serene shade of blue on the millwork complements the shimmery, hand-painted botanical wallpaper. Brass accents and crystal doorknobs, which reflect the abundant natural light, were thoughtfully integrated throughout.
- The bleached oak colour of the window covering ties in with the wood tone of the flooring and brings an organic element to the room.
