Nestled within a shared urban property, this small courtyard has been reimagined as a contemporary haven for lounging, dining and entertaining. The clever design seamlessly blends a stone slab floor and an ipe wood fence, which matches the home’s brick exterior, to create a visual continuity that makes the space feel more expansive. Inspired by rooftop terraces, the project incorporates waterproofing and drainage solutions tailored to the site.

Privacy is ensured thanks to a mature tree and carefully chosen tall plantings, which form a natural screen. A barbecue island and renovated outdoor shower complete the setting. This project proves that with ingenuity, even the smallest urban space can become an outdoor oasis.
