9 Home Designs Inspired By Pantone’s 2026 Colour Of The Year
Pantone’s 2026 Colour of the Year is here—and it’s the perfect ‘blank canvas’ for every home.
Introducing: Cloud Dancer. Airy and bright, Pantone describes its annual hue as a “billowy white imbued with a feeling of serenity.”
“We are living in a transitional time where people are seeking truth, possibility, and a new way of living," said Laurie Pressman, vice president of the Pantone Color Institute, in a press release. As a “blank canvas” of colour, Cloud Dancer is intended to shine bright on its own or pair with more colourful hues.

The shade is in line with overall colour trends for 2026 that celebrate earth tones from deep greens to creamy beiges. That said, it’s an interesting move for Pantone as many designers are moving away from all-white interiors.
No matter your style, take a peek at how interior designers use bright whites—like Cloud Dancer—in these nine designs.
1. All is bright
Designer Amy McKay uses white on the plaster fireplace, the walls, and furnishings to embrace a warm and inviting style.
2. Rowhouse kitchen
Bright white hues are illuminated by ample natural light in this Montreal rowhouse. Details like arched doorways and stretches of luxe marble help bring designer Fay Martel’s Monaco design concept to life.
3. Hamptons style
There's something about an all-white style that feels so very Hamptons—especially when paired with organic materials and nautical nods.
4. Blue skies
In this Calgary home, crisp white pairs beautifully with blue accents in a celebration of coastal design.
5. Breezy bedroom
Can you get more picture-perfect than this oceanfront bedroom? Airy curtains and white wood panelling brings a contemporary-meets-rustic flair to the space.
6. white accents
For a space that's light and bright but maintains an earthy embrace, pair your stark white with a softer beige or cream.
7. Warm workspace
Black and white is timeless. We particularly love it in this home office for its classic sophistication and awakening environment.
8. Timeless elegance
A white bedroom like this one is soothing and elegant.
9. White stone
Bright white doesn't have to appear via paint. Use it in stone—like in this brilliant shower—for a clean look.
